Emanuelle in Do ut des and The Slaughter: two new films by Dario Germani.

There are two new films from the direction of Dario Germani, former director of “Anthropophagus 2” the sequel inspired by Joe d’Amato’s cult movie “Anthropophagus.”

Emanuelle in Do ut des is a film selected at MAFDA 2022 in the “Best director” category. Leonardo, the main character, is a successful entrepreneur, but his story will intersect with that of Francesca, a college student and part-time model. Because of her past, the girl refuses all physical contact with Leonardo. When Emanuelle, a writer who is conducting an experiment on sexuality, crosses paths with Leonardo’s life, she will begin a game with Francesca where the boundaries between good and evil will eventually blur together.

In The Slaughter, a group of friends chose a large, isolated building for a night of partying and sex. The building was dedicated to film development and printing, with an extensive stockpile of historical horror films. At one point in the party, a short film is shown in the room that looks like a snuff movie and features a serial killer in a doll mask at work. The boys are amused and impressed, but everything changes when shortly thereafter the same killer begins to appear in the building.

The slaughter, features Antonio Tentori as the author of the subject and screenplay. A true legend of Italian horror, who boasts collaborations with true pillars of the genre, from Lucio Fulci to Dario Argento.
