The film is based on the true story of Federica Angeli, reporter of the Italian daily newspaper “La Repubblica”, who investigates the Roman underworld, challenging threats and dangers.
Federica decides to dedicate her life to a civil cause: the fight against the organised crime clans infesting the capital city area of Ostia, where she lives. Her pen has always been and will always be her powerful weapon.
The film tells about all the steps of the real challenge she started against the organised underworld in 2013 and not ended yet. Through a series of turns of events, her fears, sometimes her despair and moments of solitude are shown, as well as the extraordinary solidarity received on the web from students, some magistrates and politicians, and the policemen members of her permanent escort.
A breathless and accurate depiction of her story, written in collaboration with Federica Angeli, a sort of Italian Erin Brockovich never forgetting her role as a woman, wife and mother, trying to protect the serenity of her family.
