Variety Distribution

Duke Rodolfo sets out in search of a young man, Germain; he disguises himself as a beggar and roams about in the Paris slums. There he meets the ‘Ripper’ and then Maria, a singer, who is exploited by a shrew known as ‘The Owl’. Maria is Rodolfo’s daughter; later on he finds out her identity and saves her.
