Fra Tazio is a monk who is said by the populace to possess healing powers. A Florentine dandy decides to pretend to be Fra Tazio so as to be able to get near the wife of one of the aldermen of Florence. The trick proves successful: the dandy seduces her and then a series of other women. The alderman is angry with the real Fra Tazio.
