This film marks Ferrei's return to the harshest desecration, above all as regards in – couple relations and the man – woman relationship. A piano – bar musician meets a very buxom and mysterious woman and they both hide away in a small house on the beach. Their relationship goes through ups and downs until he finally kills her in order to eat her flesh. This film was presented at the Cannes film festival.
