After her husband’s murder, Caterina Dupré tries to make suspicion fall on the nurse, Gina, the dead man’s mistress. Gina is condemned thanks to the ability of the lawyer, Cassidi, who is Caterina’s lover. But the judge, Goudet, is not convinced and when Caterina leaves Cassidi, he hopes to be able to set Gina free.
