In the Far West, Alan and Mike enjoy swindling people in various ways which are usually not very successfull. They are pursued by an Indian chief whose wife has escaped, and take refuge in a town where they are taken for policemen. In the end they are discovered to be jokers and trick their way out of being hanged.
