Coriolanus is a famous Roman soldier of fortune. He fights the Volscians of Tullio Aufidio but instead of praising him his people accuse him of betrayal. Coriolanus feels offended and goes to Rome to join with the Volscians. He goes back and is about to start a massacre but is stopped by his mother who begs him to save his country.
