Variety Distribution

Based on Paolo Giacometti’s drama that is godsend for theatrical companies. The hero is a hard-up artist who unintentionally kills his brother-in-law in a fit of anger. He is sent to prison and a doctor friend of his takes care of the family. After several years in prison he is set free and returns home. He realizes that the doctor has taken his place in the affections of his family. Broken-hearted, the poor man commits suicide.
