In the East of Aladdin’s fable, Dakar has usurped a kingdom. One day his soldiers bring to the palace several girls, including lovely Fatima, whom Dakar wants to put in charge of his harem. But the slave-girl Katicia takes pity on her and helps her to escape down the river. Fatima is about to be carried away by the strong current, but is saved by Nadir, the rightful heir to the throne; he reconquers his kingdom where he lives happily with Fatima for the next hundred years.
